you speak loudly. you know everything about me, my favorite city in this country. and i know you, orange green and blue and maybe the silver, too. you and i could have the best time in a coal mine or workin on a factory line 'cause there's a gold rush that always seems to start with us. yeah, we get 'em wound up. i am home, dear. it used to be music to your ears. well, my best friend has not been made apparent and they have not appeared yet. i came home, dear, and you never even noticed i disappeared and the weather always sucks for half the year but it used to be music to your ears.

i miss all the fun. i heard everyone got wasted on a tuesday. we all got dumb. that sounds like something that you would say. to every roommate i ever made angry by being loud at night... for bad advice and the pilot light we re-lit but it would not stay. to ever roommate i ever made angry, you were probably right. i bet you've been sleeping much better and man, i'm still loud at night.

that was the loudest song and we played it wrong. it went on and on and on for so god damned long. i wish all your friends was playing again but i could listen to you recite the alphabet. i want an instrument that we did not invent. so in my downtime, i stay up late. sorry if i’m keeping you awake. but every time i talk, it’s like i’m writing with chalk. i am scribbling and you’re looking at the clock but sometimes i like pissing people off. so in my downtime, i stay up late. you’ve been half asleep since half past eight. i’ve been repeating myself these days. sorry if i’m keeping you awake.

it’s loud here. you come in close to whisper in my ear. first the limbs and then then the heart and a headful of hair. i am low light and you’re the sound of saturday night but i’m a lonely rocknroll song and you’re real bright. i feel it in my fingertips and my arteries and my heart is pounding. i’m sold for your weight in gold. it’s why i’ve been waiting around. we never slept so soundly. one last chance. the slow song at the end of the dance. a lovely day in late september with ice cold hands. we kept time. a couple circles, a couple of straight lines. first the limbs and then the heart and it slowly unwinds. i feel it in my fingertips and my arteries and my heart is pounding. i’m sold for your weight in gold. it’s why i’ve been waiting around. we never slept so soundly. we never slept so soundly. no, we never slept so soundly. we never slept so soundly.
